Louis De Andrade
Personal:born in Boston Massachusetts
U.S.A. in 1955 moved to Japan in 1979. Has lived in Tokyo
until present.
Music experience: studied at Berklee College of Music
and was a professional drummer from 1976 until 1995. Studied
with Steve Smith. Played with Mike Stern, Bill Frisell,
Kevin Eubanks, Victor Bailey, Gary Burton, Sadao Watanabe,
Kermit Driscoll, George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Randy Roos
and various other musicians who are still active in the
jazz world today. Taught drums until 1998.
English teaching experience: began teaching English
to Japanese in 1982 and have been active in this field until
present.. Currently owns small English school in Tokyo.
